A 10 MW solar power plant constructed and developed by Seven Solar Energy, an Indian developer, has been in operation in Dhrangadhra, Gujarat since 2024. It has produced about 20 million kWh every year and is powering ceramic, metal, and polypack industries. The plant is furnished with 26 units of 320 kW and 350 kW UT Series GoodWe inverters, a China-based inverter manufacturer. As per GoodWe, a key inverter was shipped within 24 hours during a supply breakdown, which prevented project delays. Seven Solar Energy has had a five-year long association with GoodWe to fulfill industrial solar requirements. GoodWe has been providing technical and after-sales services, and this has helped achieve high uptime and stable operation. The partnership with Seven Solar Energy and GoodWe has served to emphasize the significance of long-term inverter performance in utility-scale industrial solar use cases.
