Chinese Mulltinational Company, SANY has recently started construction of a 10 MW solar power plant in Zimbabwe. This marks its first PV project in the country and the first in Africa to use its integrated "EP+F" model, which combines engineering, procurement, and financing. The facility will use SANY’s 710 high-efficiency modules and advanced inverters, with grid connection scheduled by the end of 2025. It is expected to generate 18 million kWh annually to support local industries and communities. The EP+F model aims to ease financial burdens in emerging markets and facilitate clean energy adoption. SANY has signed additional microgrid projects in Zambia and maintains a strong presence across over 50 African countries, supported by 15 subsidiaries and over 5,000 local employees, as part of its broader effort to strengthen energy infrastructure and economic collaboration across the continent.
