RWE, a Germany-based renewable energy developer, has commissioned Stoneridge Solar project in Milam County. The facility combines 200 MW of solar and 200 MWh battery system. The project is designed to support Texas clean energy demand with reliable and locally generated power. RWE stated the construction phase created more than 200 jobs. RWE stated the project is expected to generate substantial tax revenue for Milam County and the Thorndale Independent School District. These contributions were planned to support first responders and upgrade school facilities across the district. RWE added that its operating portfolio in the United States has grown beyond 11 GW. The expansion has reinforced its long-term presence across major American energy markets.

RWE commissioned the 200 MW Stoneridge PV and 100 MW BESS project in Milam County, Texas, increasing local capacity while supporting jobs, schools and first responders.
