RWE to build 24.7 mw solar project in Germany

A 24.7 mw solar plant by RWE is planned for KRONOS TITAN in Nordenham, Germany with construction starting summer 2025 and operations by spring 2026.

Germany-based energy company, RWE plans to build and operate a 24.7 mw ground-mounted solar plant at KRONOS TITAN’s site in Nordenham, Lower Saxony, Germany. The project will be developed on 20 hectares of leased land and includes the installation of approximately 38,200 solar modules. It is designed to generate around 22,000 megawatt hours of electricity annually, supplying a significant share of the site’s energy needs. KRONOS TITAN will purchase the generated electricity through a long-term power purchase agreement. The commissioning scheduled for spring 2026. Local residents have been informed about the project.
