Recurrent Energy, a global developer of solar PV and energy storage projects, has signed a carbon neutrality and distributed energy agreement in South Korea. The deal involves 3M Korea, Yeongsan Energy Development, and city officials from Naju City. The agreement was finalized during the 2025 Capital Region Investment Attraction Roadshow. As part of the deal, a 200 MW solar power plant will be developed in Naju City. The project aims to support the region’s emissions reduction goals and enhance local energy self-sufficiency. Recurrent Energy currently has a portfolio comprising 11 GW of solar projects and 3 GW of battery storage.
