Rachana Construction Limited (RCL), headquartered in India, has recently announced a 25 MW PV plant in Dharashiv, Maharashtra. This plant will utilize PV modules along with smart monitoring system powered by IoT and AI. The 25 MW portfolio is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 35,000 to 40,000 metric tons annually, and approximately 1 million metric tons over its 25 years lifetime. Construction is estimated to create 200-300 temporary jobs. The project under its operational phase will provide 30-50 permanent jobs. The project cost is estimated between INR 125 crores to 175 crores (~ $15.24 million to $21.34 million).
