Q ENERGY, headquartered in Berlin, has concluded 2024 with the sale of two PV projects to Dos Grados. Both plants have a capacity of 52.4 MW each and are located near Tordesillas, Castilla y León, northern Spain. Despite the sale, Q ENERGY will oversee (EPC) and (O&M) of the project post-commissioning, for two years. The portfolio covers nearly 220 hectares and will feature over 170,000 solar modules and become operational by summer 2026. The combined 105 MW capacity will generate electricity for 59,000 households and reduce CO2 emissions by over 790,000 tons annually. The €80 million (~ $83.5 million) transaction received legal support from Uría Menendez and financial advisory from KPMG Corporate Finance. With a 5 GW project pipeline, Q ENERGY anticipates advancing Spain's renewable energy goals.
