Prysmian signs PPA with Edison Energia from a 150 MW PV portfolio

A multi-year PPA will provide Prysmian with 25% of its electricity in Italy from Edison Energia, sourced from a 150 MW solar plant in Viterbo province.

Prysmian, an Italy-based global cable manufacturer, has recently signed a multi-year Corporate Power Purchase Agreement with Edison Energia for clean electricity. As per the agreement, Edison Energia will supply 25% of Prysmian’s annual electricity consumption in Italy from a newly constructed 150 MW solar plant in Viterbo province. Edison Energia has stated that the agreement is designed to provide tailored renewable energy solutions for industrial and retail clients.
