China headquarterd POWERCHINA has secured a contract for the Conchagua 30 MW Solar EPC Project in Conchagua, El Salvador. The project is situated in the La Unión Bay area, nearly 145 kms southeast of San Salvador, El Salvador's capital. The project includes the design, construction, equipment supply & installation, trial operation, and commercial operation testing of the 30 MW photovoltaic power plant and a 34.5/115kV substation. The project is expected to generate 71.216 GWh of clean energy annually, equivalent to 1,944 hours of utilization per year. It will also reduce carbon emissions by 50,000 metric tons, delivering efficient and clean green energy to thousands of households.
