Pardee Resources Company, based in Pennsylvania, is making a $15.2 million investment through its subsidiary Pardee Renewable Energy LLC. The investment secures a 90% equity stake in four renewable energy partnerships aimed at installing 4.6MW of rooftop solar PV systems across nine public schools in Roanoke, Virginia. The investment will be partially financed with $8.3 million in commercial bank loans at the partnership level and is eligible for federal investment tax credits. The installations are expected to be completed and operational in the fourth quarter of 2025. The project is being developed in partnership with Secure Solar Futures, a Virginia-based solar developer, and will be added to the company’s Alternative Energy Division portfolio.
