The Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) has partnered with Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd to promote rooftop solar adoption among residential consumers under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana. The program will be implemented via Odisha's four power distribution companies (DISCOMs), focusing on creating public awareness and ensuring accessible solar energy solutions. The initiative will initially target cities like Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, and Rourkela, with plans for state-wide expansion. Awareness campaigns will be conducted at public hubs like airports, malls, and railway stations.
