Spain-headquartered Nexwell Power, part of Nexwell Group, develops and operates renewable energy projects, has energized its 6.63 MW Guarromán solar project in Jaén, Andalucía. It is the last of seven projects in the Iberia Solar II portfolio, with a total capacity of 46 MW in Extremadura and Andalusia. The plant is expected to power over 4,000 homes and cut more than 5,600 metric tons of CO2 emissions in its first year. Nexwell Power also implemented biodiversity measures, including three nest boxes, a perimeter with eight bush species such as rosemary and thyme, and the planting of poplar and ash seeds.
