US headquartered solar tracker company, Nextracker has reached over 10 GW of solar tracker installations across India, with 1.8 GW added in the last quarter. The facility combines research, testing, and workforce training to strengthen local capabilities. Recent highlights include a 305 MW project with ReNew in Anantapur and 1.5 GW through EPC partnerships.To support this momentum, it launched an 80,000 sq. ft. office and a 13-acre R&D center in Hyderabad, backed by a USD 1 million investment. The company plans to expand hiring in engineering, manufacturing, and support roles. With 95% of tracker components manufactured locally under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, Nextracker is aligning its operations with India’s solar growth and localization goals across infrastructure, technology, and talent development.
