Neosun Energy, a Hong Kong–based solar EPC company, has completed 100 off-grid solar installations across Pakistan for Marie Stopes Society. The project was executed in two phases and finalized in March 2025. According to Neosun Energy, the first phase included 55 installations in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, and Peshawar. In the second phase, 45 additional systems were installed in Hyderabad, Muzaffargarh, and Layyah. These off-grid solar stations are designed to provide uninterrupted electricity to MSS healthcare centers by eliminating dependence on Pakistan’s unstable power grid. Marie Stopes Society said the systems support consistent delivery of reproductive and family planning services across its facilities. According to Neosun Energy, this is the first project to solar-power all MSS centers through a single deployment, also enabling continuous healthcare in underserved urban and semi-urban areas.
