Neosun Energy, a Hong Kong-based solar solutions provider, has commissioned a 1MW solar power system for Unity Foods Ltd in Karachi, Pakistan. The system marks the first phase of a planned 2MW project and includes 3,650 solar panels rated at 545W and seven 250kW inverters. More than 1,800 panels were installed during this initial phase, forming a ballasted ground-mounted arrayOnce the full 2MW system is operational, it is expected to generate 2,920MWh of electricity annually, helping reduce operational energy costs for Unity Foods' Sunridge Products. Neosun Energy aims to address Pakistan’s rising electricity costs and grid instability by expanding solar access for industries. The company is expanding in Pakistan with new branches in Karachi and Lahore and offers commercial solar systems from 200kW to 10MW capacity.
