In Crawford County, Ohio, US-based National Grid Renewables began construction of a 117 MW Sycamore Creek Solar Project. This portfolio is expected to generate approximately $27 million in economic benefits, including $16 million in tax revenue for local services, and will operate within the PJM market. During construction, it is projected to create around 160 jobs. Kiewit Power Constructors has been selected as the EPC partner, continuing previous collaborations on four Ohio solar projects. Sycamore Creek is National Grid Renewables' fifth solar project in Ohio, expanding its total operational and under-construction capacity in the state to over 675 MW. The company previously completed Yellowbud Solar in 2023 and is advancing developments at Dodson Creek, Ross County, and Fayette Solar.
