Mobi Solar Philippines, a Manila-based EPC contractor, and LongNeng Power, a China-based solar EPC firm, have formed a consortium that has advanced a 13 MWp solar project in Butuan City.The Agreement is done under a 25-year operating contract, which has ensured long-term regional supply stability. Enfinity Philippines, a Manila-based renewable developer, has supported the partnership through development coordination that connected local permitting with project requirements. EPRRTI, a Philippines-based renewable operator, has stated that the facility has created employment opportunities for Caraga’s workforce through operations and maintenance needs. Chint Solar, a China-based solar solutions provider, said that streamlined licensing has remained important for timely implementation, and added that the project has served as a blueprint for similar initiatives across Mindanao.
