US-based renewable energy company Sunraycer Renewables has signed two Environmental Attribute Purchase Agreements with Meta Platforms, a global technology company. The agreements cover a total of 240 MW AC of solar power from the Midpoint Solar project in Hill County, Texas, and the Gaia Solar project in Navarro County, Texas. The projects, with a combined capacity of 310 MW DC, are expected to begin commercial operation in Q4 2025 and will supply clean energy to the ERCOT grid. These are the first projects in Sunraycer’s 4 GW AC portfolio, with the company also expanding partnerships through its Accelerant Program.
