MAHAPREIT, a Mumbai-based agency under Maharashtra government, has issued a corrigendum to its rooftop solar tender. The tender is for tariff discovery and selection of solar power developers to implement 500 MW grid-connected rooftop solar projects with a 50% greenshoe option across Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. According to MAHAPREIT, the bid submission deadline has been extended to September 4, 2025, with technical bids opening on September 8, 2025. The revised terms require developers to submit a minimum bid of 25 MW overall and at least 10% of the quoted capacity in category A1, covering 20 kW to 100 kW projects. MAHAPREIT has reserved the right to allocate project capacity across states and categories as deemed necessary.
