China-headquartered LONGi opened its HPBC 2.0 production line to the public for the first time on February 25 at its Jiaxing base. Around 20 media agencies attended to observe the manufacturing of Hi-MO X10 modules. The HPBC 2.0 product was introduced in May 2024, followed by the launch of Hi-MO X10 modules in October 2024. To meet demand, LONGi started upgrading its production lines in late 2024, with Jiaxing chosen as one of the first sites for its advanced manufacturing systems. The company plans to expand HPBC 2.0 production capacity to 50GW by 2025, with Jiaxing expected to produce at least 40%. The factory has completed its upgrade, increased capacity and running continuously to support production needs. A ceremony was held to mark the commissioning of the upgraded line.
