LONGi, together with industry partners, launched the Global BC (Back Contact) Ecosystem Collaborative Innovation Center on August 2, 2025, in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China, to advance BC technology industrialization. Agreements were signed with Laplace New Energy Technology, Shaanxi Xingbei New Energy Technology, and Jiangyin Haida New Energy Materials under the “Pathfinder Alliance Program” for joint research and production. The initiative follows LONGi’s earlier BC ecosystem developments since 2023, including a Global Distributed R\&D Center in 2024 and program expansion in 2025. As of May 2025, LONGi had engaged with 191 partners, signed 55 cooperation agreements with 44 companies, and completed 23 deployments in seven photovoltaic-related fields. The center will focus on collaborative R\&D, technology integration, and lifecycle tracking to support efficient, cost-focused, and quality-driven BC technology deployment.
