LONGi, EMMI power 33 MW Magdalena Solar II in Guatemala

China-headquartered LONGi has signed an agreement to supply 33 MW of Hi-MO 7 photovoltaic modules to EMMI for the Magdalena Solar Phase II Park in Guatemala. Biomass Energy is leading the project development. The first delivery of modules began in late 2024, and the project will become operational by late 2025. LONGi has supplied over 500 MW to sustainable projects in Guatemala. Antonio Morales of LONGi noted the country’s progress in renewable energy adoption. Ángel Nicolás of EMMI emphasized the importance of advancing energy transition in the region.
