Zurich-headquartered KIBAG commissioned the 1.254MW rooftop solar project at its Regensdorf facility, developed by Swiss Renewable Solutions. AESOLAR supplied the G12R modules for high efficiency. The project used 2,787 AESOLAR METEOR AE450CMER-96BDS modules featuring G12R cell technology. It became one of the largest rooftop solar projects in the Canton of Zurich and was fully integrated into the grid. The system was designed to generate approximately 1.4 GWh of electricity annually, meeting the facility’s internal energy needs while reducing transmission losses. The AESOLAR METEOR AE450CMER-96BDS module incorporated TOPCon G12R cell technology, a 210mm rectangular monocrystalline silicon cell designed for higher energy output and optimized space utilization. It had an efficiency of up to 22.57%, ensuring durability. Its high power output, better efficiency, and lower system costs made it suitable for large industrial and commercial solar projects.
