According to JMK Research & Analytics, Waaree Energies Limited, an India-based clean energy firm that manufactures and promotes PV modules, has preserved its grasp as India’s top module supplier by quantity with a 14% share in H1 FY2025. India has added 4.2 GW of new utility scale solar projects and 1.3 GW of rooftop solar projects in the April to June 2025 quarter, bringing India’s total historical installed solar capacity to 91 GW and with over 70 GW of future projects under development. Waaree Energies has stated that its production milestones and expansion plans have supported leadership in the market under India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision of solar self-reliance.
