Janom Investments, a Slovakia-based energy company, has reached the ready-to-build stage for the 30 MW PV plant in Klakar, Croatia. Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2025, with commissioning planned for the Q2 of 2026. The project is Janom’s first in Croatia and part of its broader regional development strategy. Ekonerg, a Croatia-based engineering firm, is providing technical support throughout the development and construction phases. The plant will operate under a long-term land lease, which is expected to generate revenue for the Municipality of Klakar and help fund public services. A stakeholder meeting in Klakar involving Janom, Ekonerg, and local officials discussed project timelines and future cooperation. Janom is also progressing over 200 MW of solar and wind projects in Croatia and plans to deploy battery energy storage systems to support grid modernization and reliability.
