Insolation Energy, a Jaipur-based solar panel manufacturer and EPC service provider, has announced that its subsidiaries Insolation Green Infra, MGVI Green Infra One, and MGVI Green Infra Two were awarded Letters of Award by Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam under the PM-KUSUM Component A Scheme. The award is for the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance for 25 years of grid-connected solar power plants across 17 sites, including associated 11 kV lines and remote monitoring systems. Insolation Energy stated that the combined capacity of these solar plants will be 34 MW with tariffs fixed at INR 3.02 (~ $0.036) per unit for one site, INR 2.70 (~ $ 0.032) per unit for thirteen sites, and INR 2.65 (~ $ 0.031) per unit for three sites. The company confirmed that an investment of INR 113 crore (~ $ 13.5 million) isrequired toestablish these projects in Rajasthan.
