Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL) has proposed a 100 MW rooftop solar power project along the 158 km Nehru Outer Ring Road (ORR). Consultants will be appointed to prepare a Detailed Project Report, covering integration of generated power into the grid through TGSPDCL and TSPA substations. The plan includes laying 33 kV lines, constructing bays, and installing switchgear and metering systems, with each TGSPDCL substation able to host up to 8 MW and TSPA substations up to 5 MW. Agencies interested in the project have been asked to inspect the ORR median and substations to assess technical feasibility before moving forward.
