HEXA Renewables & Marubeni to co-develop 100 MW solar in Japan

Marubeni Corporation and HEXA Renewables have partnered to develop 100 MW of PV projects in Japan by 2028, with HEXA acquiring the completed sites.

Asia-based renewable energy developer, HEXA Renewables has recently collaborated with one of the Japan-based leading trading houses, Marubeni Corporation to co-develop up to 100 MW of PV projects in Japan by 2028. The partnership is expected to strengthen HEXA’s presence in Japan’s renewable sector while leveraging Marubeni’s development capabilities. As per the deal, HEXA will acquire the finished projects, while Marubeni will provide financial backing, industry expertise, and its network to support execution. A signing ceremony was held at Marubeni’s headquarters in Tokyo.
