GS Power Partners (GSPP), an independent power producer in the distributed generation solar sector, has secured a $22 M term financing commitment from Amalgamated Bank (Nasdaq: AMAL). The funding supports five GSPP community solar projects in New York, with a total capacity of 25.5 MW.The projects include East Road North and East Road South in Lowville, New York, which are expected to begin operations in the next month. Additionally, the Little Bow North and Little Bow South projects in Gouverneur, New York, were completed in December 2023, while the Fox Road project in Marcy, New York, was completed in May 2023. Winthrop & Weinstine acted as Lender Counsel for the transaction, supporting the financing arrangement between GSPP and Amalgamated Bank.
