 US-based The Gilman Brothers Company and Budderfly has launched a $1.5 million energy project in Connecticut under a 15-year agreement. The portfolio includes a 750 kW rooftop solar system, high-efficiency HVAC, LED lighting, and advanced motor technologies. It is expected to reduce electricity use by 50%, cut 9,000 metric tons of carbon emissions, and lower energy costs by up to 30%. The project marked Budderfly’s first industrial partnership and aligned with Connecticut’s goal of 100% carbon-free electricity by 2040.
