India-headquartered Gensol Engineering has secured an EPC contract for a 245 MW Solar PV Project at Khavda RE Power Park, Gujarat, from a public sector undertaking. The contract, valued at INR 967.98 crore (~$116 million), included three years of O&M services. This was Gensol’s second project at Khavda within a short time. Earlier, the company also won an EPC contract worth INR 1062.97 crore (~$ 127 million) for a 275 MW Solar PV Project, part of a 795 MW Solar PV development package. With both contracts, Gensol became responsible for developing 520 MW of solar PV capacity at Khavda Solar Park, which is set to become the world's largest hybrid renewable energy park.
