US-based, EYA has partnered with Ipsun Solar to offer optional solar panel installations at its all-electric Reservoir District community in Washington, D.C. The townhomes were pre-designed with rooftop space optimized for solar systems. Buyers opting for solar installations will receive fully integrated systems at move-in. The program supports energy cost savings, lower carbon footprints, and provide incentives such as a 30% federal tax credit and SREC earnings, which are currently valued at $415 per 1 MWh in D.C. Solar systems installed require minimal maintenance, contribute to increased home value, and offer greater energy independence. This initiative reflects EYA’s approach to simplify the adoption of renewable energy within new home purchases.
