Denmark-based European Energy has recently commissioned its Mokoan Solar Park in Victoria, marking its first PV project in the country. The 58 MW PV plant is now connected to the Australian grid and is expected to generate 113 GWh of electricity annually. The project outcome is sufficient to power over 18,000 households and offset 85,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. Construction began in 2024, aligning with Australia’s renewable energy transition goals to generate an additional 33,000 GWh of renewable electricity by 2030. European Energy has also partnered with the First Nations BailaiGurangGoorengGoorengTaribelang Bunda People Development Corporation to support responsible project development on their land.
