Canada-based Enbridge has begun construction on the 600 MW Clear Fork solar project near San Antonio, Texas, following a final investment decision. The project is expected to be operational by summer 2027 and has an estimated capital cost of $900 million. Meta Platforms, Inc. has signed a long-term agreement to purchase the entire electricity output from the facility to support its data center operations. The project is expected to contribute to Enbridge’s cash flow and earnings starting in 2027 and will be executed under the company’s existing development and delivery model
