Norway-headquartered Empower New Energy has signed a 12-year solar power agreement with Moroccan manufacturing and logistics company Saray Immo. The 5.8 MW rooftop solar project, spanning 49,000 m² at Saray Immo’s manufacturing site, will be Empower New Energy’s largest in Morocco. This marks the company’s third solar investment in Morocco. The $3.5 million investment covers the financing, construction, and operation of the solar plants. Once operational, they are expected to generate 9,600 MWh of electricity annually, reducing 6,000 tons of CO₂ emissions per year.
