Spain-based Elawan Energy S.L., part of the ORIX group, built a 50 MW solar plant in Brazatortas, Castilla-La Mancha. This increased its total renewable capacity in Spain to over 1 GW. The company reached this milestone using only its own projects. Elawan Energy operated 208 MW of wind power in Castilla-La Mancha and Castilla y León. Its photovoltaic portfolio exceeded 810 MW, with over 20 projects across Castilla-La Mancha, including five in Albacete, eight in Cuenca, two in Toledo, and two in Ciudad Real. The company’s expansion reflected its technical and strategic capability in large-scale renewable development.
