NewYork-headquartered Eden Renewables,a solar energy developer, has secured unanimous planning approval for its 14MW Sheepcote Solar Farm in Cressing, Essex. The project was reviewed and supported by Braintree Councils planning committee, which praised the proposal during the meeting. One councillor described it as a beautiful proposal, while another likened it to if Carlsberg did solar farms. The councils planning team conducted a constructive and objective evaluation before granting consent. The proposal was supported by Eden Renewables’ team and outside consultants. It met planning rules and included strong documents. Sheepcote Solar Farm is now positioned to move forward following this key regulatory milestone.
