The project was reviewed and supported by Braintree Council’s planning committee, which praised the proposal during the meeting. One councillor described it as “a beautiful proposal,” while another likened it to “if Carlsberg did solar farms.” The council’s planning team conducted a constructive and objective evaluation before granting consent. The proposal was supported by Eden Renewables’ team and outside consultants. It met planning rules and included strong documents.
