Ecoprogetti, an Italy-based solar manufacturing equipment provider, has installed an 800 MW photovoltaic module production line for CS Solar MFG in Texas. The company said that the automated system reduces labor costs with sub-25 second tact times and is fully UL-compliant, meeting US 480 V electrical standards without requiring additional investments. As per Ecoprogetti, the production line is designed for Half-Cut bifacial glass-glass PERC modules, achieving over 22% efficiency and producing more than 2,100 modules daily. CS Solar MFG stated that the system is equipped with AI-driven remote monitoring, allowing real-time production tracking and quality assessment with minimal on-site intervention. The installation, according to both companies, strengthens CS Solar MFG’s role in US solar manufacturing by enhancing scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.Â
