US-headquartered DESRI partnered with Ranger Power to develop the 250 MW (AC) Show Me State Solar Project in Callaway County, Missouri. The project secured financial close and began construction, becoming DESRI’s third solar project in the state. It has a power purchase agreement with an affiliate of Meta and employs over 300 workers at peak construction. The nearly $500 million project aimed to provide affordable energy to the region and started commercial operations in 2026. Financing came from a group of lenders, including the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) as lead arranger, along with Nord/LB, Royal Bank of Canada, and Bank of America. Ranger Power highlighted the economic benefits for Callaway County, while Meta’s involvement supported its technology infrastructure.
