China-based solar technology company, DAS Solar has commenced construction of a 3GW photovoltaic module factory based on n-type TOPCon 5.0 technology in Mandeure, France-its first overseas facility. The project aims to support Europe’s solar demand through localized manufacturing and includes plans for future expansion into ingot and wafer production. DAS Solar also signed a strategic agreement with French automotive group Nedey to explore renewable energy integration. The facility will feature automated production lines, use existing industrial infrastructure, and include systems for solar generation, wastewater treatment, and recycling. French authorities supported the project, which is expected to contribute to regional employment and supply chain development.
