Cleantech Solar, a Singapore-headquartered renewable energy company, has commissioned captive open access projects at its 100 MW solar park in Maharashtra. According to Cleantech Solar, this is its seventh renewable energy park commissioned in the state. The company said that power generated from these projects is being procured by industrial clients on a captive basis for manufacturing operations. DRT-Anthea, a multinational specialty chemical manufacturer, is sourcing nearly 70% of its energy needs through its second project with Cleantech Solar. As per Cleantech Solar, the solar park primarily serves companies operating in the chemical and FMCG sectors. Cleantech Solar currently manages approximately 1.2 GW of solar and wind hybrid assets across India and Southeast Asia.
