Catalyze announced the acquisition of 48 MW DC fully developed community solar projects in upstate New York from German firm hep solar. The portfolio includes eight projects spread across Ashville, Corfu, Brockport, Portland, and Dunkirk, all located within National Grid’s Load Zone A. These projects are ready for construction and are expected to begin commercial operations in 2026. Once operational, they will participate in NYSERDA’s NY-Sun MW Block Program and supply clean energy to thousands of residents, including those without access to rooftop solar. The acquisition supports New York’s clean energy goals and aims to promote energy equity and grid resilience.
