Vietnam based, Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd. has announced the opening of its first U.S. PV module manufacturing facility in Greenville, North Carolina. The new manufacturing plant, backed by a $294 million investment. The plant will produce monocrystalline PV modules for residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications. The facility will feature advanced N-Type solar cell technology. The production for Phase 1 is set to begin in Q1 2025, with an initialannual capacity of 2 GW. A second phase will add a 600,000squarefoot PV cell factory, expected to be operational by H2 2026.Aopening ceremony is scheduled for April 24, 2025, at the Greenville facility.
