India-based Bisleri International partnered with Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business to improve energy efficiency and expand renewable energy use. Under 'Bisleri’s Greener Promise,' up to 13.6 MW of solar power was planned across six Bisleri plants in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. The initiative increased Bisleri’s renewable energy usage to 33% and improved energy efficiency by 2.5%, reducing carbon emissions by 16,000 tons annually. Earlier, Bisleri installed rooftop solar panels, generating 2.5% of its energy and cut its CO2 footprint by 15,000 tons through PET bottle lightweighting.
