Berde Renewables, a Manila-headquartered renewable power developer, has expanded operations in Thailand through a 30 MW university solar project focused on institutional power supply. The company has delivered the project through Berde PSS, a joint venture with Power System and Solutions. According to Berde Renewables, the contract has included 20 MW of floating solar and 10 MW of ground-mounted systems. The installation has ranked among the region’s largest university-linked solar projects.  Berde Renewables has entered into Thailand in 2023 after acquiring a 20 MW rooftop solar portfolio. From initial assets, Berde Renewables has expanded capacity to nearly 50 MW within one year. As per Berde Renewables, Thailand has emerged as its second key market after the Philippines.
