India-headquartered Avaada Group inaugurated a 1.5 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Noida. It was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. It also laid the foundation for a 5 GW integrated solar manufacturing unit in Greater Noida. The 1.5 GW facility in Dadri became operational in 3.5 months and produces TOPCon N-Type bifacial modules with 16 to 24 bus bars. It has M10 and G12 cell production capabilities and manufactures 5,800 modules daily. The upcoming 5 GW unit in Greater Noida, covering over 50 acres, will produce high-efficiency solar cells and create 3,000 jobs. The company emphasized a focus on high-quality solar manufacturing with minimal environmental impact.
