Astronergy, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has supplied it's 390 Astro N5 580 W modules for a rooftop solar project at the Duitama Transport Terminal in Boyacá, Colombia. Installed by Solares y Suministros, the system has a total capacity of 226 kWp and was connected to the grid in July 2025. As per Astronergy, the installation meets about 90% of the terminal’s daily power needs and represents the largest solar setup deployed at a transport terminal in Colombia. The project is expected to generate around 252,000 kWh of electricity annually and reduce about 81.4 tons of CO₂ emissions each year, supporting greater energy self-sufficiency for the regional transport facility in Boyacá.
