INSOELEC SOLAR completes 3.2 MW plant in Peru with Astronergy modules

Astronergy and INSOELEC SOLAR has expanded their partnership in Peru with a 3.2 MW solar plant in Ica, using 5,080 modules to generate 1,070 MWh annually.

Astronergy has supplied 5,080 ASTRO N5 bifacial 630 W modules for a 3.2 MW solar plant in Ica, Peru, developed by INSOELEC SOLAR. According to Astronergy, the project was completed and activated in December 2024. The plant is expected to generate 1,070 MWh of electricity annually and reduce carbon emissions by 580 tons every year. As per Astronergy, the ASTRO N5 modules were selected for their 23.3% high efficiency and reliability. The project, located near Lima, a region known for grape production, has created over 70 direct jobs, benefiting the local community. INSOELEC SOLAR has stated that this installation strengthens its collaboration with Astronergy in Peru, with both companies planning further expansion in the country’s solar energy sector.
