US-based Renewable Energy Company, Arevon hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 6, 2025, marking the completion of the Eland Solar-plus-Storage Project in Kern County, California. The two-phase project includes 758 MW DC of solar and 300 MW/1,200 MWh of battery storage, using 1.36 million solar panels and 172 battery packs. Arevon coordinated with landowners, utility partners, and financing entities throughout the development and construction phases. The system’s storage capacity allows energy to be dispatched at 300 MW for up to four hours. The facility is expected to supply electricity to over 266,000 homes annually and generate more than $36 million in tax revenue over its lifetime. Arevon confirmed that project completion was achieved through multi-party collaboration and adherence to regional energy goals.
