Luxembourg-headquartered Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America and CI Renewables are nearing completion of a 13 MW DC solar facility in Madera, California. It is expected to be operational by March 2025. VALTA Energy has built a solar facility to supply 20% of the electricity for Ardagh's Madera glass manufacturing facility. This will reduce grid demand equivalent to the usage of over 2,500 homes. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for March. Ardagh operates 37 facilities globally, employs 14,000 people, and reported $4.6 billion in revenues, focusing on glass packaging solutions.
